Meet Dr. Scot Gircsis

Dr. Scot Gircsis received his Doctorate degree from Parker Chiropractic College in 1998. He holds a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology as well as two bachelor degrees in Exercise Science and Anatomy. Dr. Scot is proud to have served our country as a United States Army Paratrooper E4 specialist and was a member of the U.S. Army powerlifting team during his service.

It was after the military while attending the Ohio State University that he began his chiropractic path. While taking pre-med classes and preparing to take the Medical College Admission Test for acceptance into medical school, Dr. Scot competed as a powerlifter. After winning the National - Natural Powerlifting championship he was training for his next competition when he sustained a low back injury. In excruciating pain and unable to drive he saw his medical doctor where he was prescribed traditional muscle relaxers and inflammatory drugs. With no relief and on the recommendation of a fellow powerlifter he visited a Chiropractor. Within two visits with the Chiropractor the pain was gone and after two weeks he was back in training for his next powerlifting competition. The injury changed his views on medicine and the rest is history…his chiropractic career was born!

Dr. Scot has a strong background in Chiropractic treatment and management of musculoskeletal disorders with a special interest in rehabilitation. His mission is to provide health care of the highest quality. On a larger scope, he intends to foster an interest in health and fitness to the Columbus community.

Dr. Gircsis had the honor of being selected as the first chiropractor in Ohio to be utilized by the United States Military. He structured and instituted the chiropractic protocol to be used at this facility by future chiropractors. (January - September 2005). He also served as an Anatomy Professor at Columbus State Community College from March 2000 - June 2004 as well as a Personal Trainer at many prestigious gyms from 1992 - 1998. He served in the U.S. Army from 1986 - 1989
